[It's Officially the Holidays!]

Thanksgiving has always been the start of the holiday season and this year is already off to a great start! I am so excited for all the shopping, holiday parties, baking, wrapping paper, Christmas cards, decorating, lights, and music. Basically from here on out I am obsessed with anything and everything with any sort of Christmasy goodness. But I can't move onto Christmas without first saying how awesome my Thanksgiving was!

Last Tuesday Dan and Kenzie Clayton put together an awesome Friendsgiving (an early friends Thanksgiving) and everyone had such a blast! I really am sooo grateful that I have such great friends, we all have so much fun together. I took some pictures and they are all really horrible and blurry but I want you to see them anyway. ;)
So Blake and I spent Thanksgiving afternoon watching the National Dog Show. I know it is super goofy but I have to watch it every year and I love it! I love seeing all the different dogs and my favorite is usually the weird ugly dog.. ha ha This year and Irish Setter won, he was such a cute dog. After the dog show we had Thanksgiving dinner with Blakes family and we had tons of fun! The Shaffers are awesome and we love them all lots, we both feel so blessed to have such good family! After dinner Jen (Blakes sister) and I went up to the outlet mall for some screaming Black Friday deals! J.Crew was pretty much amazing and their awesome sale made the late night drive up to Park City totally worth it. It was definitely a successful Thanksgiving and a great start to the holidays!

[The Move]

For the last year and a three months Blake and I have been able to go through life just as happy as can be, loving school, married life, the whole bit. This is us in our natural habitat just happy, happy, happy...

And then we decided to move, and we started looking like this...
WARNING: These images may be disturbing!

As happy as we both are to leave student housing (especially since they canned the cable) the actual process of moving is such a PAIN! We have been living in a disastrous mess for the last week and that was just preparing for the move. Today was the big move and everything went really well but it has been a ton of work and has left us utterly exhausted and cranky. On the bright side, we are very excited about our new place! It is a basement apartment on 17th east and just off of 21st south. We are right across the street from Sugarhouse Park and I know we will LOVE living there. We were both so over living in an apartment building and just wanted to feel like we had an actual home in a real neighborhood. We feel really grateful that this new home opened up for us and really appreciate all the tons of help from our family! Hopefully before the weekend is over our faces will start looking normal again.
