Happy Birthday Ben!

Being the only girl in my family I felt totally picked on that I didn't have a sister that I could be best friends with. After growing up a little bit, I have completely changed my mind. I couldn't have better siblings (sister or no sister). My brothers and I have all become close and I really do consider them to be best friends.

But... I have to confess that the reason for all the cheesiness is that today
is my little brother Ben's 18th Birthday!

Soooo I am officially dedicating this post
to Benjamin!!!
(he is the one on the left) Ben is loving, kind, generous, helpful, funny, positive, smart,
and just an overall happy, go-lucky kinda guy.
His strong testimony and love for the gospel has become more noticeable than ever.
It is easy to see that his beliefs have shaped him into the person
that he is and he has become an incredible example.
Over the years Ben has been a good friend and a great brother
and I know he will be someone that I can count on for the rest of my life!

Happy Birthday Ben!
I love you.

p.s. Congratulations for making it to adulthood, even though I'm not so sure that Mom and Dad will acknowledge your adulthoodness... ha ha

My latest OBSESSIONS!!!

So over the past couple of weeks I have become obsessed with bikram yoga and planing a trip to Europe.I know its kind of random but I can't help it.... they are my new favorite things.

YOGA
Bikram is a form of yoga that consists of 26 poses and 2 breathing exercises. A class is 90 minutes long and the room is heated to 105 degrees and usually about 40% humidity! It is sooo freaking hot in there that there are times when I want to just run for the door, but I love it!
I tried my first class a couple of weeks ago and I truly thought I was going to die! I had to sit down a couple of times because I seriously thought that I was going to pass out, and as crazy as it sounds, after the class was over I felt SO good.
There is something about intense concentration, focusing all my energy on bettering myself, and just sweating my brains out that makes me feel like I can do anything. I have done it a couple of times a week since then it is the only type of exercise that has ever made me feel this good. It is amazing!
It is pretty fast paced and the combo of the poses and the heat really gets your heart pumping. And even though sweating like a pig is super gross, it rids your body of toxins and has done wonders for my skin. I love love love Bikram!

Europe, please!
I NEED TO GO! This is not a want, it is a need.
Over the last couple of weeks this desire to backpack through Europe has gotten somewhat out of control. Sooo in order to keep myself from just spending all of our savings and just jumping on a plane right NOW, I have been doing some extensive research and promising myself that we will go as soon as I graduate. If all goes as planned I will graduate from the U in the spring of 2012, which makes that summer a perfect time to go! If anyone has ever backpacked through Europe before and has good suggestions I am all ears, and would really appreciate any info! As of right now we are saving our pennies and hoping we can figure out a way to pull this off! ;)
Europe here we come... in 2012!!!

I just love this guy!

I just found this picture of Blake and I LOVE it!
He is kinda pulling a goofy Blake face but it's totally him and it just melts my heart.
So this post is totally cheesy but I just have to say how happy I am to be married to Blake!

This week I have been a total crazy person with finals! I have never been so stressed out, and without realizing it I haven't been super nice to him... Even though I have been acting completely irrational he continues to be very patient, loving, and helpful.
Sometimes I think that he knows me better than I know myself and can pull me out of any crazy mood and bring me back to reality. He is perfect for me and his down-to-earth, stress free demeanor helps me stay on track with what is really important in life.
I love you Blake!
